This Privacy Policy explains how LATTIXE LLC, doing business as Steelyard Systems ("Steelyard Systems", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects information when you visit steelyardsystems.com, request a demo website, claim a website, or receive messages from us.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, business name, trade, city, email address and mobile number when you fill in a form; onboarding details such as business hours, service area, license number and a forwarding number when you claim a site.
  • Text messaging consent records: which consent boxes you ticked, the exact wording shown to you, the date and time, and technical details of the request such as a hashed IP address and browser type.
  • Public business information: to build a demo site we use information from a business's public listings, such as business name, phone number, service area and public customer reviews. A phone number taken from a public listing is used only to display on that business's demo site. We never send text messages to numbers obtained from public listings, purchased lists or any third party. We text only numbers whose owner opted in on one of our own forms.
  • Quote requests on customer websites: when someone fills in the quote form on a customer's website, we forward their name and phone number to that business by text message (if the business opted in to texts) or by email. We do not use those details for anything else.
  • Billing information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers.
  • Basic technical data: server logs such as pages requested and error reports, kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

  • To build, host and maintain websites for our customers and to build demo sites.
  • To respond to requests, provide support and send account, onboarding and billing notices.
  • To send text messages only to people who opted in, as described below.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in, we send text messages under the Steelyard Systems program as described in our SMS Terms. Consent to receive texts is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third party, affiliate or lead generator for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider handles your number only to deliver our own messages. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our messaging provider and customer service, is permitted only so they can deliver our own messages. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or email support@steelyardsystems.com.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, under agreements that limit their use of it: Stripe (payments), Twilio (message delivery), Vercel (hosting), our email delivery provider and our domain registrar. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Demo sites and public reviews

Demo sites are built from public business listings and are marked so that search engines do not index them. If you own a business and want your demo changed or removed, or a review left off, email support@steelyardsystems.com and we will do it the same business day.

Retention

We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and as required for tax and legal purposes. We keep text messaging consent and opt-out records for at least four years after the last message so that we can show proof of consent and honor opt-outs.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, and California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not discriminate against anyone for using these rights. Email support@steelyardsystems.com to make a request.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
