SMS Terms

These SMS Terms apply to the Steelyard Systems text messaging program operated by LATTIXE LLC, doing business as Steelyard Systems. They are part of our Terms of Service.
1. Program description
If you opt in, Steelyard Systems sends text messages to the mobile number you gave us. There are two kinds, and you choose each one separately:
- Account and service texts: the link to the demo website you requested, replies to your questions, onboarding steps, billing and payment alerts, service notices and, for customers, new quote requests from your own website.
- Offers and tips: occasional marketing messages about your website and our services. Claim reminders, pricing and offers go only to people who ticked the separate marketing box.
This program covers only messages from Steelyard Systems to its own customers and opted-in contacts. Missed-call text-back messages are sent by each client business under that business's own name, number and separately registered carrier brand and campaign. They are never sent under this program.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by ticking an unticked consent box next to the mobile number field, in one of two places: our demo request form at steelyardsystems.com/get-started, or the setup page a customer fills in after claiming a site, which shows the same two boxes with the same wording (see a picture of it). Consent is not a condition of purchase. We send one confirmation message when you opt in.
We never send text messages to numbers obtained from public listings, purchased lists or any third party. If you text us first, we reply to your message. We add you to recurring texts only if you opt in on one of those two forms.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Account and service texts depend on your activity. Marketing texts are occasional, typically no more than four per month.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. We do not charge for messages.
5. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all texts from this program. We send one message confirming the opt-out and nothing after that. We also honor CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPT OUT and any clear request to stop. After STOP we will not text you again unless you opt in again on our form or text START.
If you are a paying customer, texting CANCEL stops all texts from us and also starts cancellation of your plan. Because texts stop immediately, we confirm the cancellation by email.
6. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for help, email support@steelyardsystems.com.
7. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device.
8. Privacy
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third party, affiliate or lead generator for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider handles your number only to deliver our own messages. See our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and changes
You must be 18 or older and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number. If you change your number, tell us so we can update our records. We may change these terms and will post the new version here.
The consent wording we use
Account and service texts: "I agree to receive text messages from Steelyard Systems at the number provided: the link to the demo website I requested, replies to my questions, and account, billing and service notices, including quote requests from my website. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
Offers and tips: "I agree to receive marketing text messages from Steelyard Systems, such as offers and tips about my website, at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
